Candidates who have passed (Eligible for Higher Studies)the HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto with Mathematics/ Computer Science/Computer Application/ Information Technology/Informatics Practice/Informatics/ Additional Mathematics as one of the subjects are eligible for admissions (U.O. No.GAI/J1/2453/1997 dated 06.10.2000 and GA I/J1/1597/2005 dated 11.07.2005).
Computer applications are application software which is a set of instructions or code written in a program for executing a task or an operation in a computer. It is designed for end-users to perform a specific task and these programs run in the background, enabling applications to run. Bachelor of Computer Applications is a three year bachelor course aimed to provide knowledge and skills in use, develop, design and maintaining of computer application software, including integration of applications, web designing, networking etc. This six semester course also prepares the students to show the high quality of independent thought, flexibility, and maturity based on a sound technical knowledge of the field.
